The school provides education for foreign students, regardless of race, color and creed, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, including Advanced Placement.

Withdrawal


If you are withdrawing/transferring your child from DIS at any time during the school year or at the end of the school year, please follow these steps:

Withdrawal/Transfer Procedure for students leaving DIS

StepProcedure
OneParents are obliged to officially inform the Office of the Registrar through writing a LETTER OF INTENT address to our Directress/Principal. The letter should state that the student is transferring, and why the student is transferring from Dominican International School.
TwoStudents must complete all the signatures from 1-8 of the Student Clearance Form which can be obtained from the Registrar’s Office.
ThreeThe Student Clearance Form will remain in the Registrar’s Office for validation after completion. In addition, completed forms are necessary to process the student’s School Transcript and Records.
FourComplete a Document Request Form (green form). Forms are available from the Registrar’s Office. Remember to proceed to the Cashier’s Office for payment.

Note: For Transcripts and School Records, please inform the Registrar’s Office at least one week in advance, in order to prepare your request and to give consideration to the one in-charge. Please coordinate directly with the particular school office if you require other arrangements.

Starting the process early will ensure that the withdrawal process go smoothly. Thank you for your help and understanding.
