Where Creativity Blossoms: Vernal Views

Art Exhibit 2026

21-24 April 2026

From April 21 to 24, 2026, the school community celebrated creativity and artistic expression through Vernal Views – Art Exhibit, featuring the remarkable artworks of Middle School and High School students. The exhibit showcased a diverse collection of paintings, sketches, mixed media pieces, and creative projects that reflected the students’ imagination, talent, and personal perspectives.

The title Vernal Views was inspired by the word vernal, which means “related to spring.” Much like the season of spring symbolizes growth, freshness, and new beginnings, the exhibit represented the blossoming creativity and developing artistic voices of the students. Through their works, the young artists shared unique perspectives and vibrant ideas, giving viewers a glimpse into their creativity and imagination.

The exhibit highlighted the dedication and artistic growth of the students under the guidance of the Art teachers, Mr. Jofil Collado and Mr. Christopher Pekarik, who continuously encouraged learners to explore and express themselves through visual arts.

To formally begin the exhibit, a short opening program was held attended by members of the school community. The exhibit was officially opened by Directress/PrincipalSr. Jacqueline C. Manuel, OP, whose presence emphasized the school’s support for the arts and the importance of nurturing students’ creative abilities.

Vernal Views served not only as a display of artistic works but also as a celebration of the passion, hard work, and individuality of the student artists. Through the exhibit, students were given the opportunity to share their stories and inspirations with the community, making the event a meaningful and memorable experience for all who attended.
