Artworks: an epic expression

Art Exhibit 2025


22-25 April 2025

The week-long yearly art exhibit was held from April 22 to 25, 2025. Coinciding with the celebration of the Epic Week, it features the artworks of Pre-Kinder to Grade Twelve students. The venues used were the art rooms and the D’TORCH museum. This year’s theme is “Hope lights the way: Inspiring futures together”. This exhibit aims to inspire more students with their artworks and hopes to light the path together. Artworks are an epic expression of oneself.


The Art teacher, Mr. Christopher Pekarik, prepared the artworks of the lower and middle school students. Some grade 8 students helped him post the artworks on the panels. The high school art teacher, Mr. Jofil Collado, prepared the artworks of the high school students.


The Directress/Principal, Sr. Jacqueline C. Manuel, OP, opened the exhibit. Her unwavering support in this endeavor encouraged the students and the art teachers. Academics and Curriculum Coordinator Mr. Joe Schoeman, Extracurricular Activities coordinator Ms. Agosh Librea, Humanities Department Head Mr. Samir Eddio, and some teachers witnessed the ceremonial opening of the exhibit.


Following the conclusion of the annual Art exhibition, Mr. Jofil expressed his gratitude to those who significantly and directly contributed to its success. He said your involvement is crucial in fostering education and supporting the development of our art students. They are

  • Mr. Samir Eddio for his efforts in organizing the event.
  • Ms. Milagrosa Librea for managing logistics, permits, and other preparations.
  • Sr. Jacqueline Manuel, OP, our Directress, for her unwavering support.
  • Sr. Lorna and the Dominican Sisters for their continued support.
  • Ms. Apao for her assistance with logistics.
  • Ms. Archie Racadio for her invaluable support of resources, time, and energy.
  • Ms. Bing Racadio for her indispensable contributions of time and energy.
  • Ms. Ma. Robeth Collado for the visual materials
  • All teachers who attended the opening ceremony and viewed the exhibition.
  • The MIT Department, including Mr. Ian Crisostomo, Mr. David Tu, and Edwin Portillo, for facilitating audio and visual resources and services.
  • Students who assumed significant roles during the opening ceremony: Emma Lin, Ryan Hou, Jenny Chiang, and Brandon Yu.
  • Our Custodians for helping prepare the venue.
  • Student-artists who made contributions to the exhibition.

He stated that we aspire to bring you a better experience of art and design in the future.
